Mustang Woodworks

Mustang Woodworks was born out of my appreciation for all things handmade and my desire to share that appreciation with the world. The increasing prevalence of mass production furniture and cabinetry has distracted us from the beauty and craftsmanship of the handmade. I have been inspired to start this business by the possibility of revitalizing the appreciation for the custom-built and the handmade. Mustang Woodworks is located on a working and active farm, which means I have the opportunity to bring about my creations in a sustainable way. I can source wood right here from the property. I can repurpose the "wastes" of woodworking by using sawdust as animal bedding. I can use scraps for firewood and I can plant trees to replace the ones I harvest. This unique way of pairing woodworking within the greater environment of a farm allows me to live and work in a way that is  consistent with my values of craftsmanship, sustainability and the many beauties of nature.
